Illegal, weapon, and dangerous items
- Firearms, ammunition, weapon parts, explosives, fireworks, incendiaries, realistic improvised weapons, or instructions for making them.
- Illegal drugs, controlled substances, drug paraphernalia, or substances marketed for intoxication.
- Stolen goods, items with removed serial numbers, contraband, counterfeit products, or anything whose transfer would violate law or another person’s rights.
- Hazardous chemicals, pesticides, fuel, compressed gas, asbestos, radioactive material, infectious material, or waste requiring regulated disposal.
Regulated products
- Alcohol, tobacco, nicotine products, vapes, gambling products, lottery entries, and regulated financial instruments.
- Prescription medicines, controlled medicines, opened medicine, medical samples, and medical devices that require a prescription, professional fitting, or regulated transfer.
- Government IDs, permits, licenses, SIM cards registered to another person, financial accounts, payment cards, currency, cryptocurrency, or access credentials.
- Human remains, bodily fluids, organs, tissue, or biological specimens.
Unsafe, recalled, and hygiene-sensitive items
- Recalled products or items with a known serious safety defect.
- Used child car seats, safety helmets, fall-protection equipment, or other impact-rated safety gear whose history and integrity cannot be verified.
- Opened infant formula, opened food, expired consumables, spoiled goods, or food prepared in an unlicensed commercial context.
- Used intimate items, opened cosmetics that touch the body, needles, sharps, or contaminated personal-care products.
- Electrical or gas equipment with exposed conductors, leaks, bypassed safety devices, or defects that create an unreasonable risk. Repair projects must be clearly described and lawful to transfer.
People, animals, and protected nature
- People, adoption or custody arrangements, sexual services, labor, or any transaction involving exploitation or trafficking.
- Live animals. Dibs may allow lawful pet supplies, but it is not an animal-adoption or wildlife marketplace.
- Protected wildlife products, endangered species, invasive species, illegally collected plants, or items made from protected animals.
Harmful or infringing content
- Sexually explicit material, sexual content involving minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, or exploitative content.
- Hate material, credible threats, instructions intended to facilitate violent wrongdoing, or items used to harass or stalk.
- Pirated media, counterfeit branded goods, unauthorized copies, stolen data, malware, surveillance credentials, or devices configured primarily for unlawful access.
- Documents, photos, storage devices, or electronics containing another person’s private data. Wipe electronics securely before posting.
Arrangements that do not belong on Dibs
- Paid sales, auctions, rentals, loans, deposits, barters, raffles, investment solicitations, fundraising, paid services, jobs, or commercial lead generation.
- Empty, misleading, duplicate, bait-and-switch, unavailable, or purely promotional listings.
- Anything that requires the claimant to leave Dibs and pay, subscribe, reveal credentials, or complete unrelated tasks before receiving the item.
When you are unsure
Do not post the item. Contact hello@rpinnotech.com with a description that does not include unnecessary personal data. Dibs may remove an item or restrict an account while evaluating risk, but members remain responsible for following law and checking official recall and disposal guidance.
